Jan R.
Hi All I took apart my STI USPSA edition .45 and projected the reverse plug to places unknown!! My question is can I use the guide rod from my colt gold cup until I get a replacement for the recoil master? Thanks Jan
Ed Robinson
Depends on the type of reverse plug the sti has. My gold cup had a traditional spring plug and collet bushing. There are two types of reverse plugs that I know of. My STI and my Springfield both have reverse plugs but they aren't the same. paopao
At first im using sit recoil master..after a while decided to use stainless steel guide rod with 12.5# recoil spring. tried to use the reverse plug that came with the rm, but had problems with it. my gunsmith made me another one just for the new guide rod. 38superfan
AS Long as it has a barrel bushing I'm not seeing why you could not run a standard plug.
