alecmc
One of my revolvers ejector rod is slightly bent, not enough to currently be giving me issues, but I want to correct it before it becomes a problem. I don't have any fancy lathes, dial calipers, etc Any " home brew " methods I can rig up to straighten her out ? Thanks
practical_man
Buy the Power Custom took from brownells. It ain't cheap but worth every penny. Wish I would have bought it years before I did. Seriously. Get it. It is darned near an essential accessory for smooth and light revo actions.

But at about 230 dollars for the jig and dial indicator i'm not sure I can afford it.
Carmoney
Honestly? I don't think they're worth straightening. Much easier to just buy a new rod. By the way, the most common way to bend them is to constantly take them apart. There is very little reason for the non-gunsmtih to dick around with extractor rods. Trust me--they do not need disassembled for routine cleaning.
