RCBS Dies in Dillon XL650

Hey, im new to the forum, but I have a somewhat dumb question. I just upgraded to the XL650 and I love it. Issue I have it I have lots of the 2 die rifle reloading sets from RCBS. I have read they will work fine in the 650, I just can't find anywhere it says how to set them up. ie.. which station to put them in. Any insight would be appreciated.

Try Sizing die in position 1 and Seating die in position 4. With the powder die in position 2 that should do it just fine.

Same place you would put Dillon dies.

I run RCBS dies for .223 and have for years.

I'm using RCBS Small Base 300 Blackout dies in my XL650 with no issues.

One thing I do suggest is to use the Dillon die lock nuts instead of the RCBS lock nuts.

The Dillon's are smaller on the outside so your Dillon bench wrench will work.

No reason to buy new dies if you're old ones are fine! If the shoe fits, wear it! The 650 doesn't magically load bullets different than any other press, it just does it magically faster!
