JACKIE40X40
Is there anything abnormal when the guide brakes off, or is it a normal fatigue issue?
GuildSF4
Where did it break? Any pictures, any wear marks?
JACKIE40X40
Lost the front half at the last match, didn't notice Till we torn it down too clean. Broke flush where it screws in the guide head Replace it with the Dawson tool less. Bought 1 extra for back up.

It may not mean anything, however if there are unusual wear marks, or impact marks on the head that could be bad.
JACKIE40X40
I HAVE NOT NOTICED ANYTHING UNUSUAL, I CLEAN IT EVERY TIME I SHOOT IT.I ALWAYS LOOK IT OVER FOR THE OBVIOUS. BUT IM NEW TO THIS CLASS OF HANDGUN, I BOUGHT FROM MY SON, AND HE BOUGHT OFF THE FORUM ABOUT A YEAR AGO SO WE DON`T KNOW FOR SURE HOW MANY ARE ON IT. I`M JUST CURIOS IF THERE`S SOMETHING I NEED TO BE AWARE OF? OR WATCH FOR. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP ON THIS I APPRECIATE IT. JACKIE
GuildSF4
Watch for peening or impact marks on the front face of the guide rod head, and on the frame same general location. If you see this your springs may be to light or you could have a timing issue that could damage the frame and slide.
