  1. Remington has been around for many year`s . parts are available coast too coast.most gunsmiths have experience with them. You can get custom benchrest quality add on accessories at most shooter supply web sites. And they are very accurate right of the box.
  2. Thank's guys I appreciate it, I have one on my wish too cancel.
  3. I had the t 7 redding press, competition dies. I had checked the run outs with the Sinclair gauge. I bought hornady l n l press, set it up. It had about .01 more runout. So just in my opinion, there is none.
  4. Being this is my first edge it seem`s that just about everyone agrees that oil is the primary lube, and brand is up to the shooters preference. But what about grease? is everyone using grease as a part of the cleaning and lubing of the edge?
  5. My name is nobody(1973) Henry Fonda= Jack Beauregard, Terence Hill= nobody . the saloon scene shooting quarters out of the air.(lucky skunk)
  6. I broke a guide rod in by edge awhile back, replace it with the dawson tool less. that picture threw up a red flag for me, there is about .020 difference in that notch, between old and new. can it have that variation? or was my old one that worn? thanks Jackie

  9. mine drove me crazy, same issue followed the dvd ,called hornady 50 times, i did what they said! then i got the one guy at hornady. i used the hornady dry lube and cleaner, sprayed all the moving parts several times and let it dry completely.no issues since. i have been using the hornady dry lube for just about everything for many years. in this case i just did not use enough. just a suggestion.
  10. I`ve had, storm lake, long wolf, kkm. not much difference, i`ll give a slight edge too kkm. just my opinion.
  11. Be care! if you plan too sell it eventually, the wrong cleaner and the value goes down.if your keeping it no harm no foul.
  12. A fresh cleaned barrel will sometimes give you a flyer, But usually by the fifth shot its ok. I always take five sighters shots before I go too the line. Just a suggestion
  13. Time on target, the faster the gun recovers The best chance of keeping the sights Aligned from shot to shot
  14. That`s true, on the brass wearing, but i have worn out 1 bushing after many thousand of reloads they are fairly cheap, and the old indian trick won`t work for auto loaders, just bolt action, or falling block.
  15. If it`s 40 i keep it, i don`t bother with anything else.
  16. Mine came with a dvd, 2012 product catalog. instruction manual for the press, and a flyer for every thing else, and promo for 500 bullets. I sent a postal money order on Friday, they called Wednesday to tell me the bullets where shipped.but that was in July 2012.
  17. I`M TOTALLY NEW TO FORUMS, AND HAVE NOT OWN A RIFLE IN MANY YEARS, I JUST DO HANDGUNS. MY SON IS BUILDING ONE. I`M READING ABOUT YOUR RIFLES IN VARIOUS CALIBERS, I SEE MOSTLY 5.56, 308, AND I GET WHY? IN YOUR RULES CAN YOU USE ANY CALIBER? LIKE A WILDCAT SAY 6X223?
  18. YES SIR, I HEAR ON 308 BEING PLEASANT, I USE TOO FEEL THE SAME WAY. NO CALIBER WAS TOO MUCH, THEN YOU GET OLD AND USED UP LIKE ME. I WISH I HAD KNOWN ABOUT BRAKES ABOUT 30 YEARS AGO. NOW IF I WANT TO SHOOT A RIFLE, IT HAS TO HAVE A BRAKE.
