D.Hayden
My 1050 just started having issues When returning the handle back 'up', it catches, and the shell plate has only turned about 1/2 way The 'Slide Actuating Arm #11003', seems to get stuck trying to follow the channel in the 'Primer Slide Level Assembly #20488' and I can not figure out what need to be adjusted to get this to work right again Anyone solve this? Thanks.. Dave I'm thinking the 'fix' in on page 14 (pasted below) - but so far, it alludes me >> Prior to installation, lube the base of the primer punch. Now adjust your new punch (#12849 - large or #13307 - small) so that it is flush with the bushing (#13130 - large or #13222 - small) by turning set screw (#13226) up or down. If the primer punch is too low, dirt will collect on top of it leaving imprints on your primers. If it is too high it will bind the slide. Note: You can use the slide for a guide. Slide it back and forth over the bushing to check your adjustments. See the schematic on page 29 or the troubleshooting section for additional information. To return the lever arm bracket assembly to proper position, manually move the primer slide underneath the shellplate. Pull the operating handle down. Loosen the bracket screw, slide the assembly down until it touches the bottom of the primer slide slot in the frame. Back the bracket up about .010”, retighten bracket screw. <<
Shadyscott999
Yep. That is it. It actually sounds like yours has slipped down or there is a primer stuck in there preventing travel to the rear. It is finicky to get it just right. Mine actually needs to be twisted a slight amount toward the powder measure for best results.
D.Hayden
Thanks probably on the right track then.. I'll try twisting in a little at a time, I was trying to get it at a good 90 degree angle
D.Hayden
I think I've tracked this down.. not where I was looking at all It seems to have been the 'Primer System Rocker Arm #132058'. Was gummed up Infuriating, it would only lock up when I was running cases, worked perfectly just cycling the handle with no brass
