who can aluminum oxide grips?

I have a springfield hi cap with plastic grips I'd like to find someone who can put aluminum oxide on them do you guys know who can do this??

do a search in the forum and you should find some tips on do it yourself "Scott" grips it has been posted extensively. It is cheap and easy to do, if you can't find it, let me know and I'll re-type the instructions.

you can do it yourself...shape them to slightly under what you need them to be and then spread epoxy on them with a popsickle stick sprinkle with the material and let dry...your done...

The oxide is available from any abrasives specialty store. Personally, I like finer grits. The coarse stuff makes my hands raw.

cool thanks for the tip I serched for aluminum oxide but not scott. I have used the burner grips on a sig and thats the amount of grip I'm lookin for it seems there are different amount of aggresive textures does anyone know what grit the burners use??

I thought I would mention the grip that EricW now has available. I think he has a 1911 solution. Worth taking a look at (he has posting about them in the dealer section, or you can likely click on his website...which he has in his signiture line, above)
