Jerome Posted March 13, 2013 Share Posted March 13, 2013 You also have to compete with a lot of other matches/clubs in the area each month so that adds to the ammo shortage problem. Personally, I'd cut back on the number of matches I attend in favor of the matches that offer higher round counts and more stages (say 6 stages, 150 rounds). kevin c Posted June 13, 2013 Share Posted June 13, 2013 At our four field course and one classsifier matches at RRGC, we used to shoot 150 rounds. We're down to about 120 to 130 now, but that was a change that happened years ago, as we started to move away from massive hoser/ spray 'n pray stages which were mostly static paper to more technically challenging stages with various steel and moving targets.
