Dr.J
Good Morning, I recently purchased an S&W Shield in 9mm and want to begin loading for it. I use Titegroup to load trap loads and am wondering if it is suitable for use in the Shield. I will be using WW primers and 124 grain cast bullets. Will Titegroup work or are there are other powders better suited for use in short barrel 9s? Thanks Tom
GlockCanMan
For a short barrel I would use a fast burning powder. Titegroup is a fast burning powder so you should be good to go.
gm iprod
Titewad is better for trap loads, but I know TG works. N320, Titegroup, W231 / HP38, 700X all work for me. I personally prefer TG and N320.
thegunnerd
I've shot plenty of rounds using universal clays out of my shield . Ate it up like a champ
