Keepkool
Just started using this chrono and found to be easy to use, I have a difference between 20 to 30 fps between rounds, What kind of accuracy should I expect? Am I just asking too much of this unit? or is it my loads. Thanks Kevin Edited January 31, 2013 by Keepkool
Hi-Power Jack
20 - 30 fps difference is pretty good ... Probably not your chrono, most likely normal distribution of your reloads (even factory loads have a dispersion). What caliber, what powder, what bullet weight, what powder weight? Hi-Power Jack
Sounds perfectly normal to me. If you're trying to achieve a certain PF (125 or 165), best to shoot 20 rounds over your chrono and make sure the lowest is at PF. Lot of people shoot five shots and think they're there - not enough to make sure you make PF.
