johnhhuber Posted January 1, 2013 Share Posted January 1, 2013 I am a complete newbie when it comes to gunsmith work. Where would be a good place for me to start for a 1911. I believe that in order to become a master level shooter, I will need to know my pistol inside and out as well as have an advanced understanding of how it operates. Right now, I pretty much know how to take it apart and clean it. Are there any good classes or weekend armory schools out there? Should I start with a book or video? Thanks!
