Hi All

New to this forum, hours actually, still finding my way around.

I am in England and am waiting for the above to arrive here soon, have read about the lifter biting fingers and getting jammed as well.

Our range drill when leaving is to.

1.empty tube of rounds

2.let bolt forward

3.pull trigger

4.rack bolt open

5.insert safety flag

6.leave firing point.

Will this cause the lifter to jam when gun is empty ?

Also can we send our lifter to the USA to have it welded and returned or can we buy a welded lifter shipped to England to replace it ?

Thanks

John

Never had a problem.... Do the same here OR we can lock the bolt back. (I still use the flag even w/ the open(locked) bolt...I use the Tapco shotgun flag... Works for me.

The modified lifter will not cause a jam with the process you described. All the modification is extending the lifter and filling in the fork so it does not catch your fingers.

I just had mine done by Jeff at C-Rums and am very happy with it. Just about everyone on this forum who've had work done by Jeff are happy customers. Email him and see what he can do for you...jeff@c-rums.com.
