shred Posted January 23, 2005 Share Posted January 23, 2005 I believe that noisy power lines and nearby RF signals (phones, cell phones, radios, TV's, etc, etc) are the source of lots of 'mystery ills' that befall digital scales, especially the cheap ones. Mine sits on a basic wooden shelf and works great.. until somebody comes within ten feet of it on a cell phone. Then it drifts all over the place.
