Guest nmchenry
I hate it when, at the local matches, some shooters will not help set up a stage or take it down. These same shooters won't help RO, tape targets, or score. They do absolutely nothing to help facilitate the match.
38supPat
But they are always the first to bitch if its running behind, or taking too long to set up! Pat
Ron Ankeny
We have a couple (man and wife) who keep bringing us stages that they want to see offered, but set up, build props, etc., no way.
38supPat
We have one dude up here who said he wants to design stages, but won't take the RO/CRO course. Go figure he doesn't know much about setting up Pat
Chris Jordan
Gosh, And I thought it was law that you taped for the guy who shoots after you! The only time I won't tape is when I'm on deck and there is enough folks about to handle it. As for tear down, the way I see it is if the RO's bust thier asses to set 'em up I can help take 'em down. Am I wrong on this?? I'm just the new guy. LOL Cheers, Chris
Duane Thomas
Actually the unwritten rule - as well as I can read the unwritten rules - is that the guy on-deck does NOT tape the holes in the target for the guy ahead of him. He has that time off to get mentally prepared to shoot. Early on in my involvement in IPSC there were several times when I was about to go forward to tape targets and other, more experienced shooters said to me, "Aren't you up next? You don't tape, you've got this time to get ready." (Edited by Duane Thomas at 4:08 pm on Jan. 2, 2002)
