Tuning your AR rifle

Practice. It is definitely key to sucess.

With that being said, I bought a jp ctr02, sic titan, and fine tuned my ammo a couple years ago when I started to take this game more seriously. Dot movement was diminished from my carbine setup

Last match my gas system choked when the weather got cold, probably had some carbon buildup also. Cost me half a stage to buy that lesson.

Guess I agree with most others here, but get a good trigger and a comp........then practice.

Colt 6720R Talo LNIB.....what are your first mods?!

Cameron, Alaskapopo said a few months ago that his rifle

accidentally doubled & BOTH shots hit a 6" plate at

300 yards :surprise:

I'd find out how Alaskapopo did it - sounds perfect to me.

130 yards not 300.

Pat

Sorry Pat, didn't mean to exaggerate - just remembered it wrong.

But, a double at 130 yards both hitting a 6" plate sounds beyond

my capability - so, If I ever got serious about competing with

an AR, I'd contact you to see how to set the damn thing up.

It surprized me an the RO and scorekeeper as well. No real secret just a SJC titan comp with a Noveske Intermediate length gas system. It just shoots flat. But to the OP listen to the guys saying its the shooter and not the gear. I love good gear but in the end I believe its 95% shooter skill and 5% equipment.
