Polish a bull barrel?

Can you polish a bull barrel like the one on the sti edge or will it effect anything like warp the barrel or something like that? I just like the look of it it's strictly for looks? And how might you do that ?

Yes you can polish a barrel fairly easily, but depending on the finish you could have rust issues if not kept lubed. Like I said that depends on the finish. As for how to a dremel with a polishing wheel and polishing compound which can be found at local hardware store. Generally they come in a pack of three with different levels of abrasion. It will take some time and patience.

I personally would not take a dremel anywhere near my bull barreled guns. I understand liking the look, but you are taking the risk of reduced accuracy. It's very easy to get carried away trying to polish.

Good catch on that. I suppose I should have mentioned that. It can be done but should be done with considerable care is more appropriate.
