Sin-ster
So at an indoor range today, I had to hang an IPSC Metric notably higher than you would see at a match. At 10 and especially 15 yards, I noted a shift in the bulk of my group. (Withholding the direction for scientific clarity.) It got me wondering if it was my shooting or something mechanical. I can see it being a factor in the rare instances where we shoot through low ports or even prone. What type of shift can one expect at these ranges, shooting a 5" 9mm off hand-- and in which direction?
JaeOne3345
I believe it. Saturday, I sighted in my gun at about 20 yards kneeling with my elbows/gun level with the seat portion of a stool. I checked it while standing up and the elevation was different. Windage was still perfect but I had to adjust impact about 4" higher.

Atlgentlegiant
LOL, try being 6'4" and having to shoot targets via low portals. Talk about POI shift.
