This is for a Tactical Sport,Thanks for your help,Dave. Yes, you need to buy a complete .40 upper receiver (slide, barrel recoil spring); the problem is finding one, CZ USA does not sell slides. The only way I know to get one is to catch CZ Custom with an unfit blank in stock and have them fit it to your frame for about $500. The outside dimensions of a 9mm mag are the same as a .40 mag, only the feed lips are different; you can shoot 9mm out of a .40 mag (although I wouldn't trust my life or a match to the reliability), but not the other way around.
