David Benzick
Sue's used open pistol is at it again! I get the broken extractor fixed and the rear scope ring breaks. The problem is I can't find anything like it in the Brownells catalog. The scope is a Tasco Pro Point III. The mount is a carbon fiber arraingement with three cap screws and two alignment pins into the left side of the frame. The rings mount to the vertical carbon fiber mount by two cap screw spaced about 1/2" through the bottom of the rings. Therefore, I 'm looking for rings split verticaly without the usual base clamp on the bottom. The rings have one screw at the top and two on the bottom. Where do I find such animals? uscbigdawg
The famous Huening mount. I might have one. Let me do some digging. In the meantime, consider going with a simpler and frankly stronger mount like one from Grams Engineering. Beven can made a mount that'll fit a Tasco, with no problems. I'll let you know on the mount, ASAP. Rich
davidwiz
If it is the Heuing mount, EGW picked up making them a couple of years ago and might have some spare parts for it.
David Benzick
Thanks Guys, Richard, If you have spare rings that would get Sue back on line quickly and I could look into a stronger mount for the future. Let me know. Dave
