b2alphaplease Posted September 5, 2012 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Okay, dumb question - will a 1911 ambi safety fit a widebody P-16? Got an Ed Brown - it seems that the tab on the right side safety (as looking down the sights) is too long. If I file it down, the tab will hardly lie under the right hand pistol grip. wide45 Posted September 6, 2012 Share Posted September 6, 2012 Shorten the tab just enough to clear the frame. It will still hold. Tried cutting a slot for the tab on one frame.
