Shooter Grrl
OHMYGAWD did we get dumped on last night/today. My pond went from 1 foot below normal to overflowing - that means it went up over 3 feet, in about 6 hours! Now I gotta call a backhoe dude and get my drainage ditches deepened - AIYA! We also lost power from about midnight to 5 am this morning AND my bedroom window leaks when the wind is from the south! I want my rental back - at least then it was the landlords money fixing stuff! SiG Lady
Hmmm... Kinda makes the Pacific Northwest seem like a little chunk o' heaven after all. Well, it floods a bit in the Chehalis Valley (WA)--but that's because they built the dikes wrong--but here...? Nah... not a chance. Which was why I moved here, actually............... Believe me, I went thru the Washington flooding in the early 1990s. I had NO patience whatsoever for that. Moved out after three floods in 11 months. As we used to say, "No way, momma!!"
