Last night at bullseye we moved the targets into 15 yards after we shot half the rounds at 25 yards. Then, the RO tells us to step back from the line and he walks downrange to adjust the target positions.

As he is about ten yards away, one of my buddies yells at him:

"OK if I dry fire at the target while you adjust it?"

I turn and look at him like he's lost his mind and he says."

"He's got those electronic muffs on...I just wanted to see if they worked."

:o

That would be the high-end-laugh-of-the-evening at The Baron's Den matches as long as the shooter didn't draw his/her weapon..... :P (One gun out of the holster while the ROs are dinking with targets downrange and you're sent home. Period.)

I think I'll try it tomorrow night.:lol:

Here, whenever we have a slow squad patching and resetting a stage, the ROs sometimes yells "Stand-By" and beep the timer. It's always funny to see those calm and peaceful patchers get out of the stage at blazing speed... :rolleyes:B);)

I see that kind of jokes is pretty common :D

One of my favorite is from a shooting buddy who yell "Earmuffs and Glasses" when he step into a safety area with a RO standing next to it :P

After that, he draws his gun in the safety, rack the slide and do as if he quickly caught the case at the UASC command, you know, the "Tarantino Unload".

Lots of laugh when the RO is not used to his jokes
