I would have never tried it because I would have expected the recoil spring to spring-bind from choking-up by so much. snertley Posted August 15, 2012 Share Posted August 15, 2012 I am still using my XD9 tac for production, even got a 2nd one last year for my daughter to use. It has been running fine on BBI 115gr bullets making 125.1PF I have a solid steel guide rod, a Springer sear kit in it and an extended mag release.
