IrishPsych
I can't decide. I'm leaning toward the 930 JM as a 28" aftermarket barrel is sub $180 where a 28" for the SLP is $300+. If I wanted to shoot trap for fun. A local shop has the JM 930 for $699. I'm sure they'd take $650, so tax and DROS is under $750. A used FN SLP is good hour drive away and being sold for $700 with 200 rounds down the pipe so $735. What do you think is the better deal? I plan on getting into 3gun matches. I also plan on selling my Mossberg 500 so either shotgun will also be home defense. Thanks in advance.
Clint-M
If the SLP has ghost ring sights I'd pick up the JM Pro. CM
Alaskapopo
I would say the FN every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Never had good luck with Mossberg shotguns but in fairness have not owned their semi's. Had a 500 and a 590 with issues. Pat
sdm74
Get a 24" jm and you may not need the extra barrel. I have a few thousand through a converted wf version with no problems. just keep it clean
gng4life
Just because the SLP has a better track record, I would probably go with that. I do like my JM930 but I'm not going to let it replace my Benelli until it has proven itself a little more for me...
