Aggieddad02
It appears this is becoming more common, so I try to stay at other hotels when possible. Down side is it takes away from hanging out with other shooters
EkuJustice
Its amazing what thieves will do. We had my suv broken into at a skeet match back in the day right under a light post with a cam that was not working shining right on the vehicle. Basically tore the door up ripping the lock out, destroyed the dash to get the radio then went on a search for guns(which were all in the hotel). In san antonio, they use to put stickers on car bumpers at the match then hit them up at restaurants after the match.
davidwiz
Apparently happened quite a bit at the last (2011) USPSA Nationals in Vegas - but wasn't talked about much (except for one letter in Front Sight). Happened to *a lot* of people at the Area 5 Nationals a couple of years ago (break-ins at the motel and local restaurants). Took the Atlanta cops over 2 hrs to respond to one person's call of their guns being stolen out of their car at a local restaurant.
