canadianbacon
Just wondering what you guys use as a .22 trainer for the XDM. I was thinking about a Ruger 22/45, since I could set it up with similar sights(FO front/black rear) and it has a similar grip angle. Thanks
Jachin
I bought the Ruger 22 45 in a 4.5 inch barrel with threads for a suppressor. I had the trigger pull increased to about 6 pounds to match my XDM 4.5 9mm. After 10,000 rounds, I'm very happy. Save up some patience for the day you first reassemble it. Why is your trigger pull at six pounds? You need to send that to Powder River.
canadianbacon
The new M & P 22 is really nice. I had one, and it was a turd. Sent it back to S&W 2x before they got it to run, they refused to replace my defective magazine as well, I sold it as a loss. Nice shooter if it would have just ran well
Bansheex
Browning Buck Mark. Great pistol, easy maintenance, and a fine shooter out of the box. You can also do a simple trick to get a great trigger.

Cy Soto
Browning Buck Mark. Great pistol, easy maintenance, and a fine shooter out of the box. You can also do a simple trick to get a great trigger. I am a big fan of the Buckmark for .22LR practice but the pistol's grip angle is significantly different than that of an XD. In his case I would be more inclined to recommend a 22/45 which more closely replicates the grip angle of his primary pistol.
