  1. Didn't they just replace it with the shadow target, basically same thing with adjustable sights and a few other upgrades?
  2. Got a store website? I'm looking for an SP-01 w/ safety
  3. I have a couple P226's, and they both have 3 dot night sights. I hate 3 dot sights. I'd like to have the contrast rear with the single stripe, and keep the tritium front. But, they are out of stock everywhere. If anyone has a #8 rear contrast sight or two that they took off a pistol to add night sights, I'd sure appreciate them. I'd swap them my tritium #8 rears when my sight pusher comes in, I have no use for them. Thanks
  4. I'm seeing a few of them online now on gunsamerica.
  5. Got a MK 25 early this week, and went back for ammo today There was a Sig P226 in the case that I can't find any info on. I pick it up next week and I'll take pics if anyone wants to see it. Its a P226, new manufacture, with e2 grips, a threaded barrel, and no rail. I can't find anything on new 226 without a rail, is it a limited run or something? It also has the long extractor, while my mk 25 has the short version. I'm planning on swapping the threaded barrel to my MK 25 and carrying the rail-less one. Anyways, figured I'd ask and see if anyone knew.
  6. I have a question. I have a Glock 17, and I was wondering if a Glock 34 extended magazine release would be legal for Production. I've googled it, and some say no while others say yes. Thanks
  7. Does anyone know the estimated turn around time? Just wondering because I can't find my UPS receipt, so I've been a little nervous with no updates yet. I'm sure it's not lost but then again I'm paranoid
  8. I over-nighted it this evening, should be there tomorrow. It will be the 9mm 5.25 with no front sight and scratches on the side right by the dovetail lol, thought about selecting the re-finishing option but decided to leave it to remind me to send you my other 2 XDM's instead of trying to work on them myself lol
  9. Thanks, I was hoping you'd be the one to answer Is there a way to know what spring weights to replace the parts with when they wear out to keep the 3lb pull?
  10. I tried to install a new front sight on my XDM 5.25, but after having to dremel out the old one and putting a scratch on the dovetail edge I got frustrated and decided to send it to Canyon Creek. I decided to have them go ahead and do a 3lb competition trigger while it is there. I haven't sent it off yet because I wanted to ask a few questions. 1. Is his trigger job USPSA production legal? 2. How is the trigger job done? Is it accomplished by manipulating spring weights? If so, will the trigger job eventually "go away" when I have to replace worn-out springs if they have been manipulated? Thanks in advance
  11. I thought about sending it out, but half the fun for me is doing the work myself. I'll try the PRP kit without using the lighter spring
  12. I'm burning through bricks of 22 trying to get it down, My FO sight for my 22/45 comes in today, probably make it even easier, so far I've been shooting black sights on black steel targets, it's been easy to lose the sights to say the least lol. So far I've noticed my transitions are a lot faster, and my first shot from a holster is faster as well, it's easy to find the sights and get the on target with both eyes open
  13. Would it lighten the trigger that much without using the spring?
  14. I tried shooting both eyes open, and I was faster, but I did it a bit differently. Instead of focusing on the front sight, I focused on the targets, but the sight is also clear in my sights. Is this bad? When I focus on just the front sight the target is impossible to find almost, I'm slower, and the target ghosts horribly
  15. I have an XDM 9, and the trigger is alright but it is long, heavier than I'd like, and the reset is long as well. I want to make the trigger better, but I don't want to use lighter springs and end up with light strikes, this is my home defense gun. Is there a drop in trigger that will make the trigger better without sacrificing reliability by lightening the striker spring? Thanks
  16. This is not really something that happens in a weekend for most people, and some can never seem to overcome the problem. Mostly takes lots of practice. Like some have already suggested add a small piece of frosted tape in the upper corner of the lens on the non-dominate eye so it just blocks the front sight while aiming. After a while you will be able to remove the tape with no issues. MDA I'm picking up my 22/45 I ordered and 4 bricks of .22, if I can't get it down or still hate it I'm just going to shoot the way that feels natural
  17. Very cool, I'm glad I ran across this. I didn't know there was such a beast. Nice gun
  18. I've run across that a few times, and it always amazes me. Makes me feel skinny
  19. They are ruining season 2 by over-sexing it, SNL did a great skit on it that was pretty spot-on, I'm disappointed with HBO :/
  20. I hadn't even noticed the search bar yet :/ Give me a break I'm still new here lol, I'm still used to how ar15.com was set up, I was over there 3 years before I decided to leave. I bought Enos's book yesterday so I shouldn't have as many newb questions when I get done reading it
  21. Come to find out, he based what they did on Zen. Makes the concept easier to grasp for me since I am so familiar with it in this sense
  22. I ordered a 22/45 target today, thanks guys.
