On AR15.com there is talk about using airsoft as a training aid but not in the competitive sense.

I think most of the others are for the milsim folks. Still, you will probably find a lot of good technical info on individual models, resources, troubleshooting, etc on such sites.

Ironically, the other venues are often competition oriented (capture the flag games are really popular), whereas I think that here, we are mainly interested in the training aspects of AirSoft.

This forum is really more about using airsoft for USPSA/IPSC practice than for/about actual airsoft competition.

If you can live with google translation or if you speak/read Chinese, there are several Hong Kong competition organizations with forums.

Thanks for the replies. Of course I meant Airsoft *training* for USPSA/IPSC, etc. I don't think you could actually shoot a pistol in competition, right?
