unionman
loading 223. Lake city brass. Cci primers #41. Ramshot TAC powder Dilon 550 b Loaded up some test for my new ar Some fired great. Others did not fire primer cup was dented ok. So I thought ..no powder Got back home and weighed the two duds...they had powder Only thing I can think of is too much lube over the primer inside the case...I kinda sprayed too much ..dillon case lube Could that have caused a dudd??? warpspeed
What brand of primers ? Did you check to see if they have anvils ? I have found that during The Great Primer Shortage of 08, QC at several mfg locations got pretty lax.
Dan Sierpina
Very likely a primer that wasn't seated completely. A second hit will usually fire, the first hit seats it.
