  1. loading 223. Lake city brass. Cci primers #41. Ramshot TAC powder Dilon 550 b Loaded up some test for my new ar Some fired great. Others did not fire primer cup was dented ok. So I thought ..no powder Got back home and weighed the two duds...they had powder Only thing I can think of is too much lube over the primer inside the case...I kinda sprayed too much ..dillon case lube Could that have caused a dudd??? Thanks
  2. Agree with bayou. They are GreAt. And the green color is a plus. I loaded over 1000 without any gloves and no lead on my hands.

  4. Thanks all. I am going to stick with 230 llrn. No issues and runs good. I am nitbsure what type( h &g or ? ) it was. Picked up at grafs just 100 to try. Agree a pita. Thanks Loaded them to 1.24. But had about .15 before break in lead. So hated to load a bunch shorter.
  5. Loaded some lswc in 185 and 230 LRN 230 ran great. Could not get the 185 to load. I could loan individual with the mag in and slide open and they shot great. But would not load from the magazine Shooting a springer loaded. Any ideas?.. Thanks
  6. Finally ran out of Montana 230 FMJ. leaning towards a LRN in 230. ( seem to be able to twice as many bullets for same money ). Anyway. Used VV 320 and 340 Love the stuff Almost impossible to find a VV load for the 230 LRN. Any info would be appreciated Shooting a springer 1911. Loaded. Blue press. Thanks thanks Thanks
  7. I have been reloading 9's for over a year using both 320 and 340 Well I got the bug and purchased a 1911 Springfield loaded 45 Would appreciate any loads you all have worked up using either 320 or 340 Thanks I will be using 230 FMJ or jhp. From Montana gold Thanks Gary

  9. I have 500 MG jhp and some vv 320. I did some searches and some book looking but can't seem to find something that matches. I used 4.8 of the VV 340 @ 1.14 col and had good results. But would like to try the 320 Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks for your input I use the 320 with MG 147 @ 1.14 and it is sweet shooting

  11. I have been using VV n 340 for about 1000 rounds. MG 124 JHP. 4.8 gr and 1.14 OAL Good results. But have been seeing a lot folks using 320 more. Or it seems. I would appreciate everyones thoughts. I was going to buy 4 pounds of 340. But have second thoughts and may try 320 ??? So advice please from those who know. Thanks
  12. thanks ... i will try the 5.2 of V V N340 and see what happens .. 1.145.OAL ... i am shooting a SIG 226 and a baby glock ... both 9mm
  13. in Lyman 49th edition 115JHP start load 4.5 max 5.0 OAL 1.090 on the V V website load data Hornandy 115 HP-xtp start load 5.2 max 5.9 with OAL at 1.142 what gives i am a new reloader with a dilion 550 and am confused please help ...thanks.. i am using federal primers and remington 115 JHP but will be buying Montana Golds tomorrow...thanks
  14. Has anyone used VV 340 in a 9mm. Besides the high cost of the powder. everything else I have read appears to make it a top notch powder. Thanks for the expert thoughts.
