sparks1
I have lots of H4895, thinking of using it for the .223. Is it too fast for bullets over 69gr? I understand it works well for 55>69 gr.
45PlottHound
I don't see why not. I use IMR 4895, its cousin, with Sierra Match King 69gr in my MP15 with a 16" barrel. I also have used IMR 3031. IMR 4895 gave me better results. Hodgdon lists H4895 on their online reloading tables. They also list loads for bullets up to 90gr. Check out their web page lots of info there.
