Steve Moneypenny
I see "back to back" nationals where one person is to shoot a production or limited 10 gun then a limited or open gun a day later .. how do the pro's maintain peak proficiency with the gun. also i shoot a beretta 9mm but also really like the 45 and want to get 4 gun master. in IDPA. am i PI$$ ing in the wind or can i be proficient with both guns? I am SSP and ESP master but i shot the same gun to ESP master. Thanks for your replies Steve
shred
The pros usually focus more on one than the other, but they've got so many reps in on either that it doesn't take long to readjust. If you want to throw down the reps, you can easily make 4-Gun M, but it will take more reps than just getting really good with one.
