wmspdi
Anybody tried one of these bare Glock 17 SS replacement slides sold on Glockstore.com http://glockstore.com/pgroup_descrip/383_Slides+%26amp%3B+Frames/7365_Replacement+Glock+Slide/?return=%3ftpl%3Dindex%26category_id%3D383%26_Slides%2B%26amp%3B%2BFrames%2F I am thinking of using one of these to build a slide ride optic/comp upper (Jager kit, Jager striker, and Glock OEM slide parts) that I can switch out on my G34 frame. EkuJustice
Not sure if it is a lone wolf but looks like it could be. I have used the lonewolf slide and had good luck with it. If you dont want the logo on the back of the lone wolf, order it blindmarked and it is a clean slide.
wmspdi
I am not a fan of the bevel/bull nose taper at the muzzle of the Lone Wolf Slide. It doesn't look right with a comp, and LWD doesn't sell it any other way. I would rather have the squared off, but slightly rounded, traditional Glock slide profile. This slide was suggested by a Glock Open builder as a viable alternative so I thought I would look into it. I may just break down buy a G17 Blue Label Gen 3 and have at it. This way I can mod the G17 frame for open as well.
wmspdi
I decided to just get a new G17 Gen 3 to build on so I won't need the aftermarket slide after all.
EkuJustice
you can always part the gun out. the frame will go for roughly 200 or so. Get say 75-100 for the barrel and your into the slide with 3 mags for around 100-
