DavidG34
We hold a monthly Steel challenge match at our local range in Central Tx and we usually have 30 or so shooters. Today we had over 50 shooters and 15 of them where new. It's great to have growing pains.

Flexmoney
How many stages do set up at one time? How does it take to run 50 shooters through a stage? How many stages that are setup at once depends on the number of shooting bays, the amount of props available, etc. Typically... If you have, say...5 stages, You break the shooters up into 5 squads. Each squad goes to one of the stages. Your squad shoots your first stage (while the other squads shoot their respective stages). Then the squads rotate to the next stage. It doesn't have to be like that though. Lets say you belong to a club and can only get one shooting bay to use. If you only have a local group (say 6-12 shooters) then you can just run everybody through the one stage on one bay, then take a couple of minutes and move the targets around to setup the 2nd stage, etc.
DavidG34
We use 3 bays and shoot 6 stages. We shoot 3 squads and then reset the next 3 stages. All target locations are marked and color coded on the ground.Usually we can shoot the match in about 4 hours with 30 or so shooters but it took about 6 hours.
