Nilrem
Looks like IDPA to me. Or close enough to make it not matter what the name is.
Seth
John Z Sr. is THE ZSA guy and I'm sure he'll pipe in shortly. Its a fun idea and is supposed to be fun. None of the self importance of some of the other shooting sports.
John Z Sr
Looks like IDPA to me. Or close enough to make it not matter what the name is. The only thing we have in common with IDPA is that we use guns and the scoring is time plus penalties. ZSA is geared to the new shooter with FUN and SAFETY as the 2 key components. Rules are very basic and simple, no "tactics" or expensive fancy gear needed. Please check our website, all of it, and follow along on facebook and youtube. We have 2 episodes on "Trigger Talk TV.com" of both what we are all about and many videos and interviews with National Champs from other sports (IDPA and USPSA). Before making a judgement, please check it all out, thanks and be SAFE
g.willikers
Hey, where's the zombie targets? There's only the same cardboard targets, everyone else uses. Where's the flesh dripping, evil smelling zombies? Where's the limb bit infecteds, missing large chunks of themselves? If it's gonna' be called Zombie Shooting, it's gotta' have zombies. Would love to use zombie bleeding targets, you have any idea how to score and paste????? The cost would be prohibitive, and we do have our own copyrighted targets, the external diminsions are the same, but the scoring zones are different

CE325
Shot the ZOMBIE match today lots of fun and lots of shooting! I did pretty good had a jam took about 15 sec to fix. The stages were really cool on stage 1 there was a Texas star as a bonus 3 sec each plate if I remember. Nobody shot it but me! The first time I hit 4 plates then moved on and (accidently) hit the steel wire that was hanging the targets so they fell. Then I got to reshoot the stage. That's when I had the jam! So I went for the Texas star again and nailed it Took about 9 shots to knock them all down but it made up for the jam, it was set about 25 yards away. The stages were great Cliff did a great job setting up. A lot of new shooters were there and they seemed to have fun. All in all it was a great match I think I did good have to wait for the scores to post. I would shoot this match again for sure.
