ProGunGuy
I like icocles but I do better if i bend my elbows and bring the gun closer. Anyone else use this style of shooting?
Matt Griffin
Perfectly fine, the amount of bend, elbow height, and balance of straightness are all subject to personal build and preference. The main thing is that you're not locking an elbow as in Weaver, which restricts a side of motion and delivers recoil unevenly. Just like the complete answer for how to make a perfect shot is "line up the sights and pull the trigger without disturbing the sights or their relationship to the target" the easy answer to the platform is "hold the gun in whatever way allows you to execute a shot with minimal disruption to the platform." Let the gun tracking be your guide. Matt
Flexmoney
I think our host helped popularize ISO, and he always suggest figuring out what works for you..as opposed to going with the doctrine.
