Sarge
These things really seem to work. I think mine has finally settled in and it is pretty smooth.

james57
Well I am guessing you didn't like the bearing /washer accessory. Any comments as I am getting ready to order soon. Your thoughts are appreciated from an Open shooter with not much extra case space. James
blueeyedme
The shellplate bearing fix just didn't do anything for me - but others clearly report great results. For me, I wound up cutting my spring until I got the smooth indexing I was looking for and now I have no snap at all. Some have suggested that by doing that it may not index correctly or that over time the spring will wear prematurely - has not happened yet, but I do keep a couple of extra springs on hand in case it does. Hope that helps but as always YMMV.
