joestefano
I installed a Nordic +6 on a Mossberg 930 SPX. The spring seems a bit tight and harder to load. Has anyone cut some coils off to make it lighter? If so how many?
TRUBL
Take a look at the instructions that came with your tube......that will be your guide.
gng4life
I don't know about the 930 but the Nordic for my M2 required me to cut about 12" off of it, maybe a little more. It should be in the guide, or call Nordic, or you can search more on here, I'm sure someone has an answer...
Nuke8401
My 930 Nordic instruction say 12-16" past the end of the tube. So follower and spring installed with cap off you should have 12-16 inches of springs past the tube. It seems that many have an easier time hand cycling the first round with less spring tension. I have used a +5 and +6 both worked well at 12" past the tube. David E.
joestefano
Thanks for all the quick input. I found the instructions stuffed at the bottom of the box. It states 10" - 16" past the tube. I cut it at 12" seems better.
