XDman
Has anyone taken the classes at the Universal Shooting Academy, or as it is now called Universal Tactical Academy? Tell me about your experience.
yoshidaex
Excellent. You'll learn more than you can absorb. I took one class and another 2 years later.
beltjones
I'm not sure why they changed the name, but as long as Frank, Manny, et al are still teaching there it is one of the best places in the world. Fact.

XDman'swife
I guess enough said!! As XDman's wife, I am looking forward to this class. It is with a bit of trepidation as I (we) have been out of IPSC competition for at least 10+ years. Never really did that well to begin with (like last to second to last place in the standings) so this may be wasted on me but I am looking forward to seeing what they can do for us! Any helpful advice from any ladies that trained with them would be greatly appreciated! I like steel challenge and did that this year. We have been dealing with new equipment firearm purchases and getting used to shooting my future competition guns. It's a long road to getting back into it mentally but I hope to participate with my wonderful hubby in our area shoots. Who knows, right?
beltjones
Take a big notebook. Or better yet take two. Write down everything because you're not going to be able to remember it all when you go home.

trickpony
Manny's one of the best instructors in the business. Not sure who'll you'll be training with but all the instructors there are top notch.
