So the Prodigy is really a limited division only gun? What do you all think about the Briley package upgrades?

Hoping to get clarification here. Looking at the Shadow 2 black and blue, and the shadow 2 orange. Both are production division compliant? I see the orange on the list but not thr Black and Blue specifically. Or am I missing something. Also what holster are you using for these?

Havent shot my Limited guns in a while and am getting them ready for this year. Need recommendations for spring weight for two guns. 1). Benny Hill 6 inch lightened slide 9mm for Limited minor ammo also 6 in lightened slide 40 s&w for Limited major 2). Cheely 6 in lightened slide for 40s&w Limited major. Thanks for the help.

Going to make the move from MG's to Ibejiheads for both my 40 and my wifes 9mm. In .40, for major PF I will be using 180 gr, and the 9 for minor and production will be using both the 147 and 124 gr bullets. So where should I start on loads? I read Cocobola's post about 4.4 gr N320 with 180 gr Precision, but should I drop a 10th of a grain and work up? Where should I start with the 9mm loads? Obviously I will work up the most accurate loads while still making the proper PF for the divisions. Thanks for the help!

OK, I will admit I screwed up. Here is what happened. Shooting the stage, and bypassed two targets behind a small port. Did not engage at all. So my question is how many total penalty points is this? Two FTE at twice the max points on target, would be 10 each for a total of 20 penalty points. Then is each miss a 10 point penalty as well as each target required two scoring hits? 4 misses total? I ask as I received 60 penalty points on this stage. Thanks.

OK, so I have stock STI .40 mag tubes and use the Dawson +1 base pads. So which Grams spring, the 11 coil or the 13 coil? It looks to me like I should use the 13 coil but want to make sure as I am rebuilding my mags this fall. As a side, I get 18 with stock STI tubes guts and Dawson +1 base pads.

Have been for the last 2 months, no dice. Check at least 4 times a day. Maybe others have figured out when to check each day.

Haven't been able to find N320 for quite some time, and it seems all the other handgun powders by VV are gone as well. Has the powder been stopped at the border? Not allowed in the US? I read an article in the NRA mag that manufacturers are running at capacity, but where is it all going? I just changed to WST for my 40, and using the last of my N320 for my wife's 9mm. Anyone have REAL info and not conjecture?

PKT, The recoil from the WST and the 200gr MG CMJ as compared to my N320 load with the same bullet was in my opinion, slightly less. Still working on a 180 gr FMJ MG load for the 40. Also am close to a load for the N350 I have as well with the 200 gr CMJ. 5.2 gr yielded a 153 pf and 5.5 gr yielded a 192 pf. So 5.3 to 5.4 will get me there, but was not impressed with the accuracy. Please remember if I did not mention it before, the 40 is a 6 in barrel, while the 9mm is a 5 in barrel.

OK. Got to try some loads. the 5.0gr of wst with the 180 gr CMJ in 40 came up with a PF of 161. so next I will try 5.2 gr. Got a final load for the 200gr CMJ at 4.6 gr with a PF of 170.1 Also have some N350, trying to get loads here too.

I agree with most of the other, it should be done out of respect. It's called "Sportsmanship". I would also say that if your not part of the squad shooting, hang back and out of the way of the current squad, and not walk the range while scoring is taking place. Rest assured, you'll get your chance.

My load: 3.9gr N320, MG 124gr fmj, 129 PF. 1.142 OAL. This is out of a 5 in barrel XD Tactical. I use N320 because it is clean burning in both my 9 and 40. I shot the same load over two different matches, one was about 65 degree temp, 173.1 PF in 40, the other about 85 degree temp, 173.3 pf in my 40. For your 9, are you long loading? i.e. near max OAL, or are you seating the bullet deeper? Has someone polished the chamber? We had this happen at range I worked at years ago where the gentleman polished the chamber and enlarged it to the point the brass was not creating a good seal. Got a lot of powder residue on the outside of the case and the slide face.

Interesting, I use a 124 gr MG CMJ with 3.9 gr of N320 out of a 5in XD tactical and get a PF of 129.
