It's that time of year. I'll start it off with a few I like.

What have you got?

I especially like this one for the men and women who are serving our country overseas, in all theaters. Kristy Starling nails this most special 'homecoming' song. It rips tears from me. I can't help but cry when I hear it.

She's not a By-God-Beautiful girl like those ones that parade around in Victoria's Secret ads, but I think she's absolutely stunning when she sings...

The famous tenor, Placio Domingo, did one the best solo versions of 'Oh Holy night' I ever heard. It was mindblowing. I used to have it on a "Hallmark" tape one of my ex-wives purchased. You can find him singing that song sung in Italian, and as a duet, but since I "lost" that tape the solo English version escapes me. This duet with Charlotte Church shows, but doesn't singularly showcase, his gift of voice.

This is my drop-dead favorite version of "Oh Holy Night" (and considering the version by Placio Domingo I can no longer find, that's saying something).

Another version (my second favorite) of 'Oh Holy Night' (detecting a pattern yet?) is this one by Martina McBride, sung acopella. Unfettered and powerful!
