Xander
I'd just like to know what parts should I keep for spare, and things to look out for in every round count say 5k, 10k and so on? TIA
enutees
I don't have a list for you exactly but I will give you a general idea. Since most of the parts are cheap I ordered a lot of stuff the first time. I have one of every spring in the gun except the trigger return spring I had five and I'm down to one spare. Mine break every three months or so. All the small pins are good spares to have. They are small and can be lost easily. An extra slide stop, firing pin, and extractor. That is what I have and at this point at 14 months on this particular gun with 12,000 rounds through it I have only replaced the trigger return spring (4 times), extractor spring, and recoil spring. Racer377
My spares kit: 75 slide stop, along with the SP01 slide stop take-offs Extractor spring Extractor pin recoil springs hammer springs trigger return springs, along with the CGW slave pin, so I can swap it out quickly if needed firing pin grip screws fiber optic inserts I need to put a spare extractor in there, haven't got around to ordering it. I haven't needed any of it yet. (knocking on wood) I just recently picked up a whole new spare Shadow as well.
bobmysterious
Is CZ Custom generally the best place to pick all of these up?
Racer377
Is CZ Custom generally the best place to pick all of these up? CZ custom, or if they're out of stock of a given item, CZ-usa has most of them as well. I've ordered from both. Pricing is pretty much the same. CZinSC
Just make sure you dont make the mistake of ordering a bunch of parts, then realizing two weeks later you need some more. You will get hammered on shipping costs. Yes...speaking from experience.
