  1. When I used to compete before, I would dry fire 3 x a day, everyday, spending almost 30 min each session in a day for a total of almost 1.5hrs/day. I would do transitions in the morning upon waking, reload on the move in the late afternoons and draws, transitions and reloads again before bedtime. I can only manage to do live fire 3x a month. I guess having a home based business have some advantages
  2. I got the PDF file too from Eric, but it is not clear how and where exactly should I take off the safety side of the sear. I hope somebody could post here what they did? Thanks.
  3. Ever since it became IWI, or IMI before, all of the Jericho 941 here in the Philippines has the F (frame safety) model. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. IWI on left, IMI on right. The slide and frame is beefier on the IWI made. The beavertail on the IWI is thinner The magwell on the IWI is much larger Besides the lack of Hebrew markings on the barrel on the IWI, the top of the extractor is beveled Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yes, a is the one on the top Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I handled the Canik Stingray C yesterday and the slide to frame fit is so tight, there is no play at all. And the interior finish and build is superb . I can't believe the attention to detail they put in it considering it's very good price.
  7. I hope the Match rear sight from Hennings could fit in the Jericho. Anybody here knows the width of the rear dovetail cut of the BE? Thanks.
  8. OK is this the one? http://www.eaacorp.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2_13&products_id=675 ? Thanks.
  9. Thanks for the heads up kabayan, appreciate it.
  10. Nice one kabayan! Looks great with the delta hammer and G10 grips I just ordered the two tone version, and I'll put a delta hammer too from Tanfoglio and a FO front sight with a LPA adj rear sight. Merry Christmas to all!
  11. I will be getting a two-toned 941F 9mm with a frame mounted safety, luckily for us here in the Philippines we have an IWI distributor here. I plan to shoot it in IPSC PD next year, I want to run it stock as possible with the exception of a 15lb hammer spring and a RP-TRS from CGW. Any recommendation where I could get a lighter recoil spring and what poundage if I'll be using a 135gr minor load? Thanks.
  12. It will be my 1st 1911 and I want it to be special, it's a limited run LB, but the problem is it's been on display for the past 2 years. It has some scratches and marring especially on the sides of the slides. The owner gave me a 10% discount. Would I consider it? Coz I really like the gun and it will be a shooter not a safe queen. TY.
  13. Particularly the G17 model for IPSC PD, did Glock already fixed the issues associated with the extraction and ejection? TIA.
  14. And then there is a fellow named Eric Grauffel too
  15. Here in the Philippines, the CZ Shadow dominates the PD followed by Stock II and Stock III. I shot them all and they are very good PD guns. It really boils down who's using the gun.
  16. Great stuff. Breathing techniques and relaxation was a big part in overcoming my hyperventilation and panic attacks before. I still practice them everyday as much as I can. Even whilst on the front of my laptop or driving.
  17. Looks good! And I read that the trigger is sweet out of the box
  18. Xander

    TTI sights

    it's .100 wide x .220 tall with a .125 wide rear notch instead
  19. It depends, I'm an ectomorph (small boned), 6', 160lbs, before I started weightlifting I could already close the #1 with ease, and after 10mos without training with CoC, I could close the #2 for 10 reps
  20. I never rely anymore on CoC, coz the forearms and hand strength weightlifting gives me are more than enough, especially those pull-ups and deadlifts YMMV
