JKSNIPER
Local club (LIPSA) is having a match right now that I originally had planned to attend. Was helping the "Real Boss" yesterday by assembling the made in China stuff she had purchased. Needless to say standing in one spot for lengthly periods is frowned upon when you've had multiple back procedures performed and being the idiot that I am I ignored the discomfort and pain until it started going nuclear. I take the back meds and continue my plans. My plan was to work on that stuff for her THEN assemble my needed stuff for the match today leaving everything ready to go in the AM. I start assembling my stuff and WTF! Where are my magazines for my .45? Can't find them anywhere. Last time I went to the range was with my truck and my nephew and son . Search the truck..negative....my nephew lives in Georgia so even if they went home with him I am not getting them back anytime soon. Call my son? He's working 3-11 tours and says he doesn't think he has them but will scour his range bag when he gets home. He winds up on O-T due to the usual behavior of people on Saturday night and I'm out my Chip Mccormick mags. I put together some old 8 rounders without pads and figure I'll bite the bullet and shoot anyway. BUT....I forgot the effect of taking the back meds on sleep. I wake up? Just about the exact match start time .......ARRRGH! Way to go high-speed! Some days it just don't pay to get out of bed. JK
anachronism
Sometimes, the answer is simply "no". I missed almost every match this season due to medical issues, or cash flow problems, caused by the medical issues. I feel the pain, I had big plans for this year. coordinator
I have used ARNICA for my back and a dislocated rib. It is amazing stuff. It's available at your local health food store. Since discovering it I've talked with athletes in other sports that use it as well. Good luck with your back.
