Unfamiliar markings on brass

I've had several that looked like those. They were marked WCC and had crimped primers. I have not had very many and I'm not sure how old they were.

WCC stands for Winchester Cartridge Company. There should be 2 digits on them also which is the year of manufacture. That is military brass. You may either swage or trim the crimp from the primer pockets and use them for reloading.

That looks like a case canneleur that can be helpful to prevent bullet setback in the original load. You frequently find them on military brass and others.

What he said. They are often found on brass from defensive type loads, nickel plated cases, etc. Definitely nothing to worry about, just load, shoot and repeat.
