cbrussell
What are teh main problems with the GSI bullet feeders? I see that they now have mounted their collator on a seperate mount so that it is not part of the 1050 head; does that solve the main problem or are there others to be aware of? Spanners
I had one for a weekend would only collate 1 bullet style with consistancy. I spent around 20 hrs trying to tweak the collator to get it to work and in the end took it back. They gave me the shop demo model to try as it did work well when demonstraed, took it home and still rubbish. I ended up buying a Mr Bullet feeder and conversion kit for another caliber. After using the 1st one, I got the parts onthe way for completing a 2nd unit within the week. They are perfect in function.
cbrussell
I was hoping by now they would have fixed the collator. Were you using rifle or pistol bullets? I will only be loading 40 S&W pistol bullets with it. Thanks
Spanners
9mm.. it would only collate with 1 weight and nose profile of 1 brand. Buy a Mr Bulletfeeder and be done - they are a far superior product - collate flawlessly, with any weight etc Edited October 28, 2011 by Spanners
jmorris
They didn't offer a collator when I received my first GSI feeder so I built my own. After a friend later picked up a GSI and had problems I went to see if I could make it work, no luck. I have now built kiss style collators for all of my gsi feeders. If you are dead set on having a PC die it's the best method that I know of.
