Yes, both are Custom large frame guns it looks like it has the exact same trigger, hammer, sear, magwell, etc. It seems if i wanted to build an basic open gun, i should start with a limited and add a comp/optics rather than start with a team gold. PHX Posted October 18, 2011 Share Posted October 18, 2011 I own both and they are the same. I started with a limited and considered just buying a gold team upper from eaa for $580. That way I had a limited and open gun with the same frame. I decided against since I didn't want to remove optics when I switched to limited. Just my .02.
