fiber optic dot size

I have been trying some different sizes of front sights on my 5" STI but the one's I have tried in the 125 seems to have the same diameter dot as the 100 and 105 it looks like you could get a bigger diameter fiber optic in the 125 I was wondering if anybody makes one with a larger dot size in a 125 sight blade. That size seems to be the one that tightens up my sight gap just right

You can bell then end larger than the hole in the end of the sight to make a larger dot.

Thanks I will give that a try I was just looking through the Dawson catalog it looks like there 125 has a larger optic rod on there 125 I am going to order one of those up also and give it a try.

It doesn't, the .100 and .125 from Dawson use the same diameter rod.

I run a Brazos Lightning Rod front sight on my 5" Edge. It uses 0.60 diameter fiber optic rods, and I also mushroom the end of the FO to make the dot bigger. I love the big bright dot for hoser stages, but for long or tight shots I end up watching the corners/sides of the front sight more than the dot.
