rhino
Is this where I'm supposed to get on the floor on my back so you can rub my belly?
schoonie
This happened to me with a hinged plate at a club match in Frostproof. The RO did not see the plate reset itself, the score keeper was not paying attention (probably reloading), so I was the only person that saw it happen . I shot it again and finished the stage. Afterwards, my complaints fell upon deaf ears. That's tough but that's the way it goes sometimes . The lesson learned is to check out the stage before shooting and advise a dedicated range official to monitor the situation so that the correct call be made. Tman33_99
A fairly simple fix is to tape a wad of paper or folded cardboard to the plate stand where the plate hits the stand. This dampens the bounce, and rarely will the plate stand back up.
