mwx40x40
Need a little tech help. This is the third time I have taken my Gold down to clean and the first two times were fine. Tonight, I ran into a new problem. All I did was take the barrel off and the piston out to clean them. I left the bolt in the receiver. I am running a Briley extended tube as I shoot this in 3G. Anyway, when I re-assembled the gun everything works, bolt locks back, shells feed and extract, but when I put shells in the tube they will not stay. They come straight back onto the carrier. As best I can tell , I don't see anything missing. They aluminum cap on the mag spring stops as it should at the receiver, but I can push a shell as far as my finger will let me into the mag tube and it comes right back out instead of stopping. What am I overlooking?

I got it, embarrassing to say, but all needed to do was dryfire the gun. Shell stop engaged
